WWE SummerSlam 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Becky Lynch Costs Charlotte Flair

Being brutally honest, this Triple Threat sucks.

Nikki A.S.H's gimmick means she'd be much better in the challenger role, Rhea Ripley feels like a third wheel and few want to see WWE just put the Raw Women's Title back on Charlotte Flair. The entire division needs some inspiration, and it'd get that if Becky Lynch returned to shut Charlotte's gob.

Various reports have claimed that Bex will be in town for SummerSlam but won't show up on camera. That might be something WWE want to hold back to pop a rating on telly; Vinnie Mac has to weigh that up however. SummerSlam is a newsworthy, WrestleMania-matching pay-per-view that justifies shocking moments like a Lynch return.

Perhaps the agent in charge of the match could format it so that Flair dominates and builds resentment for a seemingly-inevitable title win. Then, out of the blue, Becky could storm out, wreak havoc and spoil Charlotte's "birth right" (her words).

There are certainly worse plans.
