WWE has done a shoddy job of preparing any heels not-named Bayley or Sasha Banks since Bianca Belair won the SmackDown Women's Title at WrestleMania. That's presumably why Banks returned, feigned friendship with the champ and then set up this SummerSlam clash.

It's a short-term solution. Post-show, WWE will only be right back in the same funk unless they reveal Bianca's next rival here. Backstage, Naomi could be shown hanging out with The Usos and waiting to meet 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns to receive his blessing - that'd soft turn Naomi heel before the proper stuff later.

She'd then attack a celebrating Belair and reveal on the next SmackDown that she's now part of the 'Bloodline'. Why wouldn't she be? Her husband has fallen in line behind Reigns, and why fight that when it's clearly a successful strategy for the entire family and leads to titles?

Boom! Instant fresh opponent for Bianca.
