WWE SummerSlam 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. Vince McMahon = TV Character

Hold onto something when reading this if you dislike Vincent K.

Imagine the scenes if Vince McMahon returned to the WWE realm at SummerSlam. No, not as the boss (those days are seemingly over), and not even as part of the creative process - there's nothing stopping McMahon from becoming a semi-regular TV character again though.

Adam Pearce has run his course as the go-to authority figure on major programming, and Triple H might reason that Vince is the ideal replacement. Few would be expecting that old, 'No Chance In Hell' entrance track on Saturday night, so it'd raise some eyebrows if nothing else.

Obviously, this is a rather out-there suggestion, but stranger things have happened in pro wrestling. Jeez, nobody thought Vince would retire in the first place. It'd be quite the shocker if McMahon returned as some sort of delusional heel authority figure who still believes it's 1998.

There's a joke in there somewhere, eh?
