2. The Main Event Is One Match Too Many

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have wrestled five singles matches against each other since 2018. That might not sound like a great number in a four-year period, but all five have been presented the same way; that's been true whether Roman has been heel or babyface too.

WWE's setup is typically this: Lesnar is unstoppable, and Reigns is the slight underdog going in. SummerSlam 2022 hasn't done much to shake this formula up, which means some fans could be wondering why they're expected to give a damn about something they've watched headline numerous pay-per-views.

This 'Last Man Standing' effort could be one step too far.

It'd be a disaster for the company if Roman vs. Brock fell flat in the main event spot on Saturday night. WWE are banking on this being the kind of summer blockbuster that people can't wait to see. Instead, great showing or not, they might struggle to keep fans interested.
