WWE SummerSlam 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
3. The Miz Vs. Logan Paul
Result: Logan Paul took The Miz out with a Skull-Crushing Finale (14:15).
Rating: Once again, say what you want about Logan Paul - and indeed, you probably should - but it's difficult to argue with his in-ring skill and ability to control the crowd.
He again proved himself an annoyingly gifted wrestler and so it's tough to begrudge him beating an established superstar much at all, really. The two clearly relished playing off one another throughout, and despite the focus being on fun, it was still appreciably hard-hitting.
The only downside is the slightly sour ending - it made Miz look a bit silly to lose like that, and given Logan Paul's clear skill, why not let him have a totally unblemished win without outside factors having a say?
It was a bit too long and overbooked - did any of us really need the AJ/Ciampa shenanigans? - but served as another convincing showcase for Paul while The Miz took the loss like a team player. 7/10
