WWE SummerSlam 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. …Finn Bálor Wins Before He Can!

YEP!

This guy is pitching a World Heavyweight Title change from Rollins to Bálor, one that'll p*ss all over Priest's Money In The Bank cash-in hopes a millisecond or so before he hands that case to the referee. Everyone would be distracted by Damian's bid, which would leave the door open for Finn to crack Seth from behind with a weapon (handed to him by Rhea Ripley or Dominik Mysterio) and hit his double foot stomp.

A horrified Priest would then have to go along with the title celebrations despite seeing another MITB window pass him by. On TV afterwards, Finn can be annoyed to find out that Damian was actually going to stomp all over his title tilt by turning the match into a three-way.

Booking another faction to have heat whilst The Bloodline thing is still hot is risky, but WWE can pull it off if they're careful enough. Bálor holding the gold Priest covets would make for some compelling television over the next few months whilst creative figures out where everyone's heading next.
