WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
2. Goldberg Jackhammers The Undertaker
15 years ago, the thought of seeing The Undertaker go nose-to-nose with Bill Goldberg on WWE pay-per-view would've resulted in wet panties everywhere. By 2019, it's not quite as enticing, but that doesn't mean select old-timers won't be waving their zimmer frames in the air when the bell rings on Friday.
That old Chokeslam-into-Tombstone or Spear-into-Jackhammer combo will surely be the finish. This old WCW mark's money is on the latter.
Of the two, Goldberg is the one who has the most left in his tank. There's a sense of disappointment when 'Taker works short, squash-style matches these days. That's always been Bill's thing, so that same dissatisfaction doesn't afflict his work. Also, if he Jackhammers 'The Deadman', it'll give the show that stand out visual to make it memorable.
Goldberg proved in 2016-2017 that he has more to offer. Watching him work with Braun Strowman and/or Roman Reigns is a must before he hangs up the boots for good, and a win here would help him move onto those big matches at SummerSlam and beyond.
