When Randy Orton recycled CM Punk's old line about Triple H's balls belonging to Stephanie McMahon on Raw, it did get a reaction. Lengthy history or not, it was a case of too little, too late for this exhibition that won't have any far-reaching consequences beyond Friday night.

Orton vs. Triple H exists to give fans in Saudi Arabia the kind of classic WWE match they've never seen before.

In the end, even if the conclusion doesn't make a difference to coming storylines, Randy should win. He's the more likely star WWE's writers will rely on for a quick pay-per-view title shot later this year, and that's not the case with Triple H. Fans and 'The Game' himself have settled into a part-time groove with his career.

Triple H beat Batista at WrestleMania 35 because big Dave was stepping away from wrestling. Orton isn't, and he should be the one to get his hand raised at Super ShowDown. It'd be a nice way to wrap up the Evolution story for good, rather than having Trips beat both his old prodigies.
