Almost the exact same goes for Kofi Kingston, perhaps with one slight caveat: Kingston's WWE Title win wasn't a long-term plan. He shot up the ladder and WWE capitalised on fan appreciation for someone who has been overlooked and under-appreciated for over a decade. There's some serious love towards Kofi from the fans.

That's why WWE should tease some MITB magic there instead.

Bear with us though, as super-jealous Dolph Ziggler comes first. He's only in Jeddah because Kevin Owens didn't want to go, but there's a silver lining here. Kofi vs. Dolph has some history to it (they've wrestled over almost every title going), and Ziggler's "It should have been me" material makes sense.

He can't win though, surely not. This is still Kofi's time to shine, and people aren't quite ready to kiss his first WWE Championship reign goodbye yet. After a hard-fought 20 minutes or so, Kofi must get a clean win that sends Dolph further down the rabbit hole of self-induced madness.
