Everyone gets a good laugh when WWE try to pretend that ideas like the "Greatest" Royal Rumble or "Best Tag-Team In The World" mean much. They, like that one-off World Cup the promotion ran, are token gestures designed to make Saudi money men feel like they're getting some exclusivity from their plaything.

The Tuwaiq Trophy is more of the same.

That's why R-Truth needs to win it. He's the kind of delusional, heartwarming character who could make light of such a victory and carry the cup around as if he was Patrick Mahomes with the Lombardi Trophy. There's hilarity to be had if Truth tells everyone he doesn't need the 24/7 Title because he has the 'Taiwan Trophy', or something like that.

Truth is a humble joy WWE should treasure. He's able to be totally wacky without losing support from the fans, and he's perfect for this kind of thing. It's not like people are taking the Tuwaiq Trophy all that seriously anyway.
