WWE Super Showdown: 7 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know
5. Bray Wyatt Debuts In-Ring
Easily the best thing in the company right now Bray Wyatt’s work has been done entirely on Firefly Fun House, which I’ve also just done a video on, look.
Now we’ve seen Bray Wyatt the children's TV presenter, the Bob Ross tribute, the poet, the storyteller, the artist and, just this week, the 80s creepy fitness instructor who wanted us to wiggle our behinds and do The Muscle Man Dance and I still can't really believe that's a thing I am enjoying in 2019 but, yeah, point is, he's not wrestled yet. When you're a wrestler, that's usually important.
The wrestling part of his character reinvention is this Fiend we've briefly seen in a few clips. A terrifying mask, based partly on an old Joker comic, and a warped voice, it's the monster that's lurking beneath the madness of the funhouse and fans are beginning to clamour to see it. Timing is going to be everything here.
Given that WWE are giving Bray near total creative control over all of this it's highly unlikely that he'd choose to make his grand in-ring return on a controversial Network event on the other side of the world. Regardless though, just because the company have let him write and produce his own skits, doesn't mean that'll extend to this as well, and he might not even get a say.
