Yes, Brie's latest push is obviously due to her husband's recent retirement, but there is no denying that the WWE crowds are right behind the Bella twin in the build up to her showdown with Divas Champion, Charlotte, this Sunday at Fast Lane. The WWE Universe have transferred the popular Yes! chant so associated with Daniel Bryan onto his wife, probably because they know there won't be many opportunities to ever do it again in the future. Even so, the crowd involvement has transformed Brie back into the super-face she was during her fantastic feud with Stephanie McMahon and made her something other than Nikki's annoying cheerleader. Her promo work on Raw was considerably better than any of her dire efforts in recent memory and her attack on Charlotte on Smackdown showed that fans are firmly on her side. Will she win the title on Sunday? Probably not. But with her impending retirement, - likely to happen in the summer - Brie may get an obligatory retirement run with the Divas Championship.
