Following their recent heel turn, Bubba and D-Von are beginning a new gimmick in which they want to disassociate themselves with the tables. It's a sure-fire way to ascertain some heat from the crowd and it's a new angle for the veterans to work with. WWE's tag team division is fairly stale, so this can only open up some fresh options - perhaps a feud with The Usos. On Raw, the Dudleyz once again aligned with their ECW leader, Paul Heyman; it may not exactly be the best tactic to gain a tonne of heat due to Paul's popularity, but it allows the duo to get involved in the main event scene - something Bubba proved he can feel at home in during his TNA Bully Ray run. The Dudleyz main evented Smackdown against Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns and although they lost, their stock has undeniably risen and hopefully, with more promo time, Bubba and D-Von can become much-hated heel assets on any WWE show. Let's just hope this run doesn't go stale as quickly as their face return run did.
