8. 'King' Barrett Is Below Xavier Woods On WWE Totem Pole
It seems a month can't go by in WWE-land without fans being reminded that 'King' Barrett is on a downward spiral. At Survivor Series, he was the first one eliminated from the main-show traditional 5-on-5 clash. Teaming with Sheamus and The New Day, Barrett wasn't permitted much in the way of momentum before he was unceremoniously dumped out of the match. As if adding insult to injury for the Englishman, it was Sin Cara who eliminated him. This means that the 'King' is further down the pecking order of importance than even lowly tag-team wrestlers. More poignantly, Barrett is far below the likes of Xavier Woods, who was once on borrowed time as a main roster wannabe before striking gold with The New Day gimmick. That kind of creativity is exactly what Barrett needs. His big, newsworthy angle involving Wayne Rooney on the recent UK Tour has already been consigned to history. It's been said many times before, but something is badly needed in order to rescue his career. Given what happened later in the show, there's a good chance his association with Sheamus could be over too.
