WWE Survivor Series 2015: 10 Things We Learned

9. Kevin Owens Is The Perfect WWE Heel

As good as Del Rio is as a villain, he pales in comparison to Kevin Owens. There's something about Owens that pro wrestling fans like. Maybe people enjoy watching his unbelievable self-confidence, or perhaps it's because he doesn't exactly look like the prototypical 'WWE Superstar'. Whatever the case, 'KO' plays his part perfectly on shows, without exception. Opposing Dean Ambrose at Survivor Series, Owens gave a masterful display of crowd manipulation. Audiences like cheering for the Intercontinental Champion despite his heel status, but Owens somehow manages to rile people up regardless of their respect level for him. His constant banter with fans was entertaining, but it also built things well for Ambrose. By the time the 'Lunatic Fringe' hit his big moves, fans were all over it. Yes, Ambrose played his own part in making the Semi Final a cool watch, but Kevin Owens put on a clinic on how to be an effective WWE-style bad guy. With a bit of luck, his days in the WWE World Heavyweight Title picture won't be limited to this fleeting appearance at Survivor Series.
