WWE Survivor Series 2015: 10 Things We Learned

3. The Undertaker Handed Win On 25th Anniversary

Retrospect makes it easier, but it was almost-impossible to imagine that WWE wouldn't hand The Undertaker a victory on a night dedicated to his career. Celebrating 25 years as the same character in the company, the legendary figure deserved to have his hand raised at Survivor Series. There was more than an element of coming full circle for 'The Deadman'. Making his debut at Survivor Series 1990, the persona has become part of the proverbial furniture in WWE. There are rumours that Undertaker will face Braun Strowman at WrestleMania, which would definitely be a tough night for 'Taker. Strowman will benefit from working such a bout, but he's not quite at that kind of level just yet. The match would almost be a throwback of sorts to a time when The Undertaker was tasked with working miracles against mediocre rivals. Survivor Series was a big occasion for The Undertaker, something he seemed to recognise after the match itself was over. Fans were there to pay homage to his achievements in the promotion, and the fact he was teaming with Kane (thus sharing the workload) made it easier for him to enjoy. There were few doubts that the iconic Undertaker would be given the win, but stranger things have happened.
