It's no secret that the Cruiserweight division hasn't exactly lit up Monday Night Raw like WWE's top brass perhaps expected it would. Purple ropes, lighting and a different overall aesthetic aren't enough, WWE must do more to make fans care about the characters involved and their matches.

The solution isn't simply moving Cruiserweights over onto SmackDown, which is precisely what would happen should Kalisto beat Brian Kendrick at Survivor Series. Cruiserweight aren't hampered by being on Raw, they just need a little more attention and more of an emphasis on high-flying to make them stand out.

WWE have to realise this, rather than meekly moving the entire Cruiserweight division over onto a show which actually has less time to give than Raw. At Survivor Series, the best case scenario is a Kendrick victory, he's one of the strongest characters in the entire scene right now.

There's unfinished business between Kendrick and T.J Perkins, not to mention viable feuds with the likes of Rich Swann, Noam Dar and Cedric Alexander to explore. The Cruiserweight division was touted as a major acquisition for Raw post-WWE Draft, now is not the time to abandon that idea.
