The New Day are currently poised to break Demolition's long-standing record, that historic 478-day reign with the old World Tag-Team Titles is close to being topped. Right now, that's enough to put New Day over as WWE's most valuable unit. Thus, they don't really need the win at Survivor Series, at least not as much as some others do.

Heath Slater and Rhyno are a relatively new tandem. During the few months they've been together, the pair have shown real chemistry. Comedic timing has been key for Slater and Rhyno, however they are still in the process of establishing themselves as SmackDown's strongest team.

Looking at the lineup overall, SmackDown arguably needs this win more than Raw. Teams like The Hype Bros and Breezango need momentum, as do The Usos in their new heel guise. Similarly, American Alpha desperately need to shine at Survivor Series.

Raw teams like New Day, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, Sheamus and Cesaro and even Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are more over right now. This is time to come through for the blue brand.
