WWE Survivor Series 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. The Miz Holds On To The WWE Intercontinental Title

As great as Sami Zayn is, he's not the right choice to be WWE Intercontinental Champion right now. That particular title is better served staying on SmackDown Live, mainly due to the fact that The Miz holds it. Don't forget, Miz only beat Dolph Ziggler on the blue brand's latest episode, so another quick title switch may feel cheap.

Dolph himself only held the Intercontinental belt for just over a full month. The idea of 3 title changes in a short period of time would only undo all of the good work Miz had done with the championship previously. 2016 has been his year with the secondary strap, there's little need to change that.

Of course, Zayn would take the Intercontinental Title to Raw if he won. This is similar to what's going on with WWE Cruiserweight Title. The same deal with that belt also applies to the Intercontinental one, it must stay put where it is.

On SmackDown, the Intercontinental Title can continue to be a focal point. Over on Raw, it'll only get lost in the shuffle, appearing inferior to Roman Reigns and the WWE United States Title.
