1. AJ Styles Vs. Brock Lesnar

Result: Brock counters the Phenomenal Forearm into an F-5 for the pin (15:25).

Rating: Though Smackdown beating Raw 3-2 at this point made it even more obvious that Brock was going to win, this was pretty much the best possible version of an AJ/Brock match.

It wasn't just a squash, it ran a decent length, Brock actually put some effort in, and it surprisingly played out like an honest-to-God main event title match.

Styles' selling throughout was absolutely incredible, again proving that even in defeat he can make both himself and his opponent look like a million bucks. Lesnar similarly played his part, selling the Calf Crusher like it was death, and though the Forearm/F-5 spot was incredibly predictable, the match as a whole was immensely satisfying.

A few nasty botches aside, this far exceeded expectations and was by far Brock's best match in quite some time. Considering how disappointing the actual main event was, this really should've gone on last to send the crowd home with a rush. 8/10
