A much more satisfying decision would be pivoting on Jax's title shot for now (feeding her to Becky Lynch instead) and focusing on a rematch between Rousey and Charlotte Flair. That has to happen. Nobody should be allowed to try and end Ronda's career, like Charlotte did at Survivor Series, and get away with it.

There must be hell to pay for Flair's vicious post-match beating.

Put it this way: if Ronda comes out all smiles on Raw and re-starts her issues with Nia Jax, it'll completely crap all over what happened on Sunday. WWE better forget Jax's number one contender gig for now and make sure they have Rousey roar like a disrespected athlete would about Flair's actions.

If a Flair vs. Rousey repeat happens at the Rumble, and carries some sort of 'No DQ' stipulation to make sure it's violent, it'll tear the house down. Why not have that match headline then build towards Ronda vs. Becky in the main event slot at 'Mania?
