WWE Survivor Series 2018: 7 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know

7. Nikki Cross Will Replace Charlotte Flair On Team SmackDown

Charlotte Flair was initially slated to team with Carmella, Naomi, Asuka and Sonya Deville as part of the women's Team SmackDown squad. That's obviously been changed because of Becky Lynch-related misery, and so Charlotte has been elevated to the spot of replacement opponent for Ronda Rousey.

That leaves quite the sizeable hole in the traditional elimination bout, and it's one that'll need to be filled pronto.

Despite some far-fetched claims from a handful of well-meaning fans on Twitter that Paige will magically come out of retirement and take Flair's place, there's another, less-outlandish rumour. What if it's NXT's own Nikki Cross who takes Charlotte's place and enters a career-making performance at Survivor Series?

That'd be great to see, would offer up a nice surprise on the undercard and would also give Nikki (who made her main roster debut on SmackDown recently) quite the spotlight to shine in. Mandy Rose is another suggestion being touted, although she's not nearly as exciting as Nikki.
