With everything else going on this Wednesday, it almost went under the radar that the winner of Dunne / Priest / Dain will be getting added to the Survivor Series card. Not just in the some token fashion either, they'll be facing Adam Cole for the NXT Championship just 24 hours removed from WarGames; a huge opportunity if ever there was one.

While Damian Priest looks set for big things in NXT, and Killian Dain has rebounded well from his erratic feud with Matt Riddle, it looks like Pete Dunne is going to be the man selected to advance to Sunday night. He's got a proven track record of putting on unmissable matches for WWE, has worked with Cole in the past, has a narrative backstory with the Undisputed Era and, most importantly, is a big favourite of Triple H.

Any other result might suggest the match could get bumped to the pre-show, but Dunne vs. Cole is a TakeOver Main Event in all but name. It deserves a spot on the show, and a good 10-15 minutes of it for good measure.
