WWE put NXT on par with Raw and SmackDown during the 2019 Survivor Series build. Back then, the brand was just moving to USA Network, and there was a concerted effort to make it seem like a bonafide third wing rather than a borderline developmental territory that might as well be called OVW.

Things have changed again, people.

NXT 2.0 is barely even mentioned on the bigger weeklies. So, it'd be a bit of a surprise if WWE thought that bringing some Capitol Wrestling Center influence to Brooklyn for Survivor Series was a good idea; they could panic mind, and that's why this is here.

Someone like Carmelo Hayes could be added to the seriously-dull Damian Priest vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match. Or, maybe NXT squads will beef out the rather lifeless ‘Team Raw’ vs. ‘Team SmackDown’ matches elsewhere on the card.

Would this be great? Nah, but stranger things have happened.
