This is the zombie sh*t all over again.

There will be people that blindly defending this nonsense happening on a wrestling show because apparently it's more important to be impressed with a company's ability to co-brand itself rather than have characters not be made total fools out of for the sake of a weird and disjointed cash-grab.

Because that's what all this strange egg sh*t was. Vince McMahon arrived in a limousine with a $100million golden egg from co-promoted Netflix movie Red Notice, spent one awkwardly long segment showing it off to Roman Reigns, then b*llocked snivelling toadies Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce when it was stolen.

There are worse "tune into Raw tomorrow night" hooks in the company's history, but not that many. Away from the ugly optics of a ramshackle billionaire whinging about a cartoonish reflection of wealth having just cut a bunch of talent for "budgetary" reasons, it's yet more kowtowing to the dumb and maddening authority figures without any chance of looking good in the aftermath.
