For better and worse (and the belt swap segment on the post-Draft edition of SmackDown was one of the very worst in the show's history), Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair's latest battle comfortably felt like the biggest match of the night.

Per reports earlier in the day, this was due to go last before being switched to the opposite end of the night, but it's not much of a surprise to hear yet more news of last minute changes at a WWE show at this point.

There's something to be said for the old maxim about going on first mattering just as much closing the show, but the company's pay-per-views haven't ran long for a while and the audience could have summoned the energy for this in the headline spot.

There was, at very least, the oft-desired big fight feel as Becky Lynch entered at pace for the brawl that kicked things off, but if anything this only advertised how much the match belonged in the top spot.
