WWE Survivor Series: 5 Reasons CM Punk's New Stable Is Dawn of New Era

3. Chaos

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujuI8F-tBA0 Last night was an instance of the WWE doing that rare thing and managing to catch fans off-guard; even the dirtsheets and the Internet Wrestling Community at large had not yet cottoned onto the fact that the WWE was going to have three NXT stars make a huge name for themselves by dismantling Ryback. In this day and age, it's rare that anything is ever a surprise in wrestling, so props to the bookers for getting one over on us. Hopefully this will be a sign of things to come, though; looking back at the best stables, are they not the ones that caused absolute chaos and mayhem at every turn, being impossible to predict and consistently surprising us? Who could forget the nWo's brilliantly noxious effects in WCW, bringing in new members every week, or the hilarious manner with which D-Generation-X defiled the dignity of anyone who got in their way? If the WWE has enough faith, they could give these guys, under the control of Punk and Heyman, grand opportunities to shake up what is becoming a pretty stale, ordinary product. The tricky part, then, will be in doing this under a PG-friendly framework, but that's not to say it still isn't possible; it might mean there won't be any DX-esque crude jokes, but we figure that probably isn't Punk's style, anyway.
