Do not book an eye exam, because your peepers are not deceiving you.

That is one Vincent Kennedy McMahon standing proudly alongside new United States Champion Austin Theory, and it could happen at Survivor Series. One of this writer's friends heard his theory (no pun intended) and said, "That'd be awesome", but think back to the opening line of this article's intro.

"Triple H deserves the chance to run WWE his way". It'd be nigh-on impossible to do that if Vinnie Mac returned to the fold as a performer, because his boss mode would quickly kick in and cause him to think that July retirement never happened.

Also, it'd be awkward as hell for creative to put the US belt on Austin here after failing to cash in MITB successfully before. WWE would be rightly taken to task for fudging that booking then changing the strap anyway. Seth Rollins is doing fine as United States Champ - leave that belt where it is.

Keep McMahon off TV too. It's time to move on!
