Result: Jey puts KO away with a Splash to give the Bloodline the win (38:30).

Rating: The main event really illustrated the disadvantages of WarGames' layout: the first 10-or-so minutes of the match weren't terribly interesting, and it didn't much pick up until Drew entered the ring.

It wasn't without its fun moments - such as the faces all hitting the heels with the Beats of the Bodhrán in-between the rings - but clearly placed far more of an emphasis on the story than the actual wrestling.

As a result it paled in comparison to the women's WarGames earlier in the night, and so it was hard not to feel that near-40-minute length.

The final sequence at least devolved into a fun car crash, but the finish was hugely underwhelming. The Sami/KO drama was by far the most compelling part of the match, but overall it just felt like this was missing that special sauce to make it anything more than an OK match with a superior story.

If WWE wants to convince fans that WarGames is a genuinely unique and entertaining match type worthy of its own event, they really need to try harder.

It just underlines that WarGames can't compete with the thrill of a traditional 5v5 elimination match. 6/10
