3. AJ Styles Vs. Finn Bálor
Result: Styles finally puts Finn down with the Phenomenal Forearm for the win (18:25).
Rating: It goes without saying that AJ and Finn have incredible in-ring chemistry, and free of any gimmicks or other nonsense, it's little surprise they put on a very solid showing here.
Beyond their well-matched athleticism, though, the match went further by having them absolutely leather one another throughout.
It was as physical as we've ever seen them together, and topped off by a fantastically desperate final stretch where AJ tried to make Finn tap as Finn fought so hard to escape.
Though many certainly felt like Finn should've won, they both turned in such fine performances that it was tough to feel short-changed by the finish. Plus, this was AJ's first singles PPV win in literally years, and it was surprisingly clean too, so that's nice.
Not the best either man is capable of, but a very respectable showing nevertheless. 7/10
