Result: Due to Apollo's "injury," MVP declares himself the new United States champion via forfeit.
Rating: The last-minute cancellation of this match naturally sparked rumours online about what Apollo may or may not have contracted, but either way it's a shame we didn't get some sort of a replacement for Apollo and therefore an actual wrestling match.
MVP's shtick was mildly amusing and the whole segment didn't outstay its welcome, even if there's nothing to say about it as a match, naturally.
It gets a few points for giving MVP a title - even if there's obviously nothing legit about it - and being less infuriating than the Swamp Match, but that's it. 3/10
