The top Evolution moment has to be the unprecedented events that occurred on the night of Armageddon 2003, in which all four members of Evolution won all the male championship titles affiliated with RAW. Despite Shawn Michaels defeating Evolutions Batista early in the Armageddon show, Evolution would prevail and at the end of the night stand victorious as champions of each respective wrestling division. It began with a late decision by RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff to allow the team of Batista and Ric Flair to compete as the seventh and final participants of a Tag Team Turmoil match for the World Tag Team Championship. Flair and Batista would use the advantage of being the last tag team to enter the match to defeat The Dudley Boyz and begin their first reign as World Tag Team Champions. Randy Orton would seek to continue Evolutions fortune by winning the Intercontinental Championship from champion Rob Van Dam. The match featured Mick Foley, a recent target of Evolution, as the special guest referee with many fans assuming that Foley would at some point cost Orton his chance of becoming the Intercontinental Champion. Yet despite the odds stacked against Evolutions young prodigy, Orton would indeed defeat Rob Van Dam and begin his first reign as Intercontinental Champion that would last for a then unprecedented seven months. As Evolution celebrated winning two of the three major championships, all eyes were focussed on how Triple H would fare in his Triple Threat match against Goldberg and Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship. As the match reached its climax Goldberg looked to pin Triple H after hitting The Game with his signature move, The Spear. However, Kane would quickly Chokeslam Goldberg in an attempt to stop him from pinning Triple H and in doing so had an opportunity to pin Goldberg himself and win the match outright. Indeed, Kane would have been successful if it were not for an ambush by Batista, who would interfere in the match, eliminate The Big Red Machine and allow Triple H to gain the pin fall over Goldberg, and with it begin his eighth reign as World Heavyweight Champion. It is evident that the events of Armageddon 2003 not only represented the power and influence of Evolution in their prime but equally symbolised the depth of trust and belief on the part of the WWE to allow all four Evolution members to wear all the championship belts as heels! It was in that moment, that Evolution had perhaps been duly crowned as the most significant wrestling stable since the debut of the New World Order on WWE programming in 2001 and as such deserves the number one position in this list of the Top 10 Evolution Moments.
