WWE Theory: AJ Styles Will Win Money In The Bank 2020

The subject of The OC's departure from the company does lend itself to the backstage reports that WWE know fine well that Styles isn't happy about his two friends being unceremoniously fired the other week and are moving quickly to make sure he's appeased. He was rushed back following... dying? or something, in the Boneyard match and if he wins on Sunday it's a very public showing of just how much they value him.

In all likelihood though, this year's Money In The Bank winner is going to hold onto the briefcase for a while. Styles vs McIntyre is a blockbuster match, but it's not one WWE needs to have anytime soon with the Seth Rollins rivalry only a few weeks old and Jinder having returned. If you think they're not doing the 3MB feud you are sorely mistaken.

Whatever box you care to write for a briefcase holder in 2020, Styles ticks it. It makes sense for him, it makes sense for the prop, it makes sense for Raw, and it even makes sense for the champion, the only thing that remains to be seen is if it makes sense for WWE this weekend.
