9. Del Rio Must Win (But Drop Zeb Colter In The Process)
When Del Rio made his surprising and well-received return at Hell In A Cell, it would have been hard to foresee such a disappointing run. However, the Mexican star has been saddled with an incredibly restrictive gimmick and has an unnecessary manager in the form of Zeb Colter. In fairness to Zeb, he's trying his best to get the angle over, but there are only so many one-note "Mexamerica" promos we can take. For the good of Alberto's reign as US Champion (and his momentum beyond that), he needs to ditch Colter and return to his old gimmick. During his initial run as the Mexican Aristocrat, it was easy to tell that Alberto was fully committed to his role. As poorly as he was sometimes booked, he always came across as a genuine character and had an aura about him. Nowadays he seems a shell of his former self, trotting out "hater" speech after "hater" speech. He should defeat Jack Swagger this weekend, but needs to ditch Zeb very shortly after - whether it be at the PPV itself or the following night on Raw.
