WWE TLC 2017: 8 Things WWE Got Right

7. Giving Emma Some Heel Offence

It wasn't all one way traffic though. Asuka vs. Emma was no squash match, and the fact Asuka didn't roll over the top of Emma at least represents hope the latter won't simply be pushed to the back of the line now Raw's writing team have a shiny new toy to play with. Emma was left looking like a vindictive heel, if nothing else.

The Australian got her licks in. She constantly pulled Asuka's hair (including a fine flip bump from the ring apron to the arena floor) and chastised the referee for not always being there for her counts. Emma was the strong heel Asuka needed during her main roster debut, so WWE should pat themselves on the back for picking her.

Emma also isn't hurt badly by the loss. She was simply beaten by one of the best female wrestlers on the planet, didn't slip on any typical heel banana peels and was able to show she's actually one of the better women on Raw despite her 'jobber to the stars' status.
