WWE TLC 2017: 8 Things WWE Got Right

The live crowd in Minneapolis were fired up to see Asuka make her main roster pay-per-view debut on Sunday night, so it was smart to put her match with Emma out as the opener. The first match on any show is going to draw attention due to its position on the card, and even more so when that bout is treated with importance.

Had Asuka vs. Emma gone on later, much of the excitement surrounding the former's Raw bow would have been sucked away by other matches. It was the right call to have Emma come out first, instruct the announcers to talk up her skills and then leave the crowd anxious to see WWE's next true female sensation do her thing.

Asuka walked like a star, wrestled like a star and was put over in a big way. If fans were viewing one of Asuka's matches for the first time, they were left with no doubts that she's the real deal, and WWE deserve praise for that presentation.
