WWE TLC 2017: 8 Things WWE Got Right
5. The Questionable Finish To Elias Vs. Jordan
We smell a heel turn for Jason Jordan sometime soon. The way he was presented throughout TLC screamed heel. From pelting Elias with food and interrupting his mini-concerts, to being happy he won cheaply against a performer he should be several steps ahead of by now, Jordan looked every bit the smug brat coasting due to who his 'daddy' is.
Whether or not this leads to a series of matches against Kurt Angle hinges on WWE's plans for the current Raw GM. Even if the creative team decide Jordan isn't ready for that, he has potential as an egotistical jock who doesn't mind getting ahead because of his family ties. That's the story Elias should be weaving on Raw and beyond anyway.
Elias is another who has clear potential, so it was wise not to beat him outright at TLC. Michael Cole and Booker T claiming he raised a shoulder before the referee's three count protects Elias, just as much as Corey Graves (the typical heel announcer) siding with Jordan aids his entitled character.
