WWE TLC 2017: Review
Bray's unfortunate illness meant an apparent dream match replaced the nightmare one we'd been fearing, and whilst that was theoretically good, it did promise to be a whole lot less fun. Bálor had taken great pains to daub what looked like a Bacardi logo on his back, though this was anything but a breeze. Almost immediately, the long-awaited clash eclipsed everything on the card, even providing TLC's first table spot thanks to a fleeing Carsten Schaefer. Styles hit an overhead kick described as being very similar to Finn's Pelé kick - because it was the same - but the Irishman marked his own rising with the rarely seen and perhaps indelicately named '1916'. Like all good matches, it ended with a double footstomp to the balls, before WWE got their digs in as the pair shared a too-snide 'Too Sweet' hand symbol. Hey, you can't trademark a gesture, right?
