WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Daniel Bryan Sadistically Beats AJ Styles

The 'new' Daniel Bryan is a cold piece of sh*t who is still oddly concerned with planet preservation. That's somehow cool, because it shows Bryan hasn't lost all of his morals or values despite turning his back on an audience who once adored him. In short, he's acting like a real person. Imagine that.

At TLC, ex-champion AJ Styles gets his mandatory title rematch, and he must lose.

Yes (ahem), Bryan is the only choice here. If he quickly drops the belt back to AJ, his threat as a heel will evaporate faster than the rivers he's so worried about, and it's not like Styles bagging the title again does anything for SmackDown. He was on top for so long that a change was needed to freshen up the product on Tuesday nights.

The best shout would be having Daniel sadistically tear down AJ and willingly take the disqualification by refusing to break his submission hold. Then, WWE can start a story of Styles trying to fight through the pain of a bad neck/back/leg to win the Rumble and get another shot.
