WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things We Learned

9. The Chairs Match Needs To Go

Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio didn't have a bad match by any means. In fact, they've got good chemistry, and there'd be merit to another match between them on SmackDown. There's one caveat to that: the feud isn't worthy of a gimmick, especially the lamest on the TLC line up.

That Chairs Match guff has got to go.

The whole thing plain sucks. It's weird that WWE expect fans to get their panties wet over weapons that are used every week, and it's even more unforgivable that the Chairs stip waters down the pay-per-view's purpose. Nobody needs this in their lives, and it should henceforth be cancelled in time for next year.

Chairs are prevalent in pretty much every brawl WWE book, and they're available in the titular TLC and Ladder bouts anyway. Get rid of this poor excuse for a gimmicked match. It was crap when it became a thing in 2009, and it's crap in 2018.
