WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19th)

6. Hornswoggle Joins The Band

For the past few years, Hornswoggle has been a lovable for some (and highly dis-likeable by most) babyface. This week, he pulled off the most shocking heel turn since Hulk Hogan joined the NWO at Bash at the Beach 96. He did this when he walked out on the stage with 3MB on Main Event with absolutely no explanation. By the looks of it, he took over Heath Slater's spot in the band. Or maybe it's now the 4MB and he plays the kazoo. Anyway, the point is that Hornswoggle is now a bad guy again. Didn't Sheamus just save him from Titus O'Neill? What a foolish move that was in retrospect! This storyline twist is most likely due to the fact that he's going to be in the unexplainable Leprechaun reboot. You couldn't possibly have a babyface play that role could you? The other reason this match happened, is most likely that Vince McMahon could once again live out his dream of little person vs. little person. On SmackDown, Swoggle took on El Torito in a battle for the ages. You have to give Vince at least a little credit. It's kind of surprising that he didn't put this on WrestleMania.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
