WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19th)
4. Dixie And Eric Do Their Best Stephanie And Bryan Impression
Dixie Carter, please go away. Please? I'll buy your action figure if it means not having to see you pretend to be Stephanie McMahon for another year. It's just not entertaining. Eric Young is not Daniel Bryan either. Sure, he's quirky fun, but he doesn't have the charisma or the in-ring talent of WWE's favorite bearded wrestler. Watching those two have a verbal showdown on Impact was downright painful. It was a weird retread of everything we'd seen on Raw lately. Oh yeah, but it's totally not, because Dixie claimed that she was the first one to create a bearded hero. That just makes no sense. Even though she's supposed to be a heel, she shouldnt be attacking her competition which is many times more successful. It would be like RC Cola going to war with Coca-Cola and claiming they created cola. First off in TNA, we have a shorter, crazy bearded man. Then we had the female boss tell him how he's not fit to be champion, and that he looks like an unemployed lumberjack. No one wants to see that, because we already saw it! And instead of Kane, we get Abyss facing off against his former tag partner. The big difference here is that Team Hell No was actually entertaining, Joseph Park and Eric Young were not. It's all so frustrating to watch, and makes you wonder how long it will be before TNA creates a group called The Sword with three guys they found from a backyard wrestling federation that vaguely resemble Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
