WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 27)

7. Paige Sure Changes Her Mind Fast

Paige had to surrender her NXT gold to JBL because he made the compelling argument that she was no longer on the show...well, if you ignore the fact that she actually competed on the show that night. Still, I understand the logic of having her vacate the NXT Women's Title since she isn't going to be around much. However, just like when the brand split was alive, Raw wrestlers would often show up on SmackDown and vice versa without any reason. It would be nice if there was some sort of logic between who can appear and when. I mean, couldn't Paige show up at least once a month to defend the title? Anyway, at the beginning of the NXT episode, JBL met up with Paige backstage, and told her it wasn't fair that she travels the world defending her Divas title. She needed to be around at Full Sail University more often. Therefore, she must give the title up. Paige told him no way would that happen. She was adamant about it. JBL responded by saying the exact same thing he had already stated, and Paige now agreed. Well that was quick. He probably could have got her to vacate her Divas title in another 15 seconds. Give him another 15, and he could have convinced her to play the role of Amy Weber in his reformed Cabinet. Having her change her mind so fast just made her seem like a little kid. It's not anything fatal for her character, but you can't imagine someone like a John Cena or even an AJ Lee giving into the odd logic of a heel announcer so easily.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
