WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 22)
7. Wait... So Why Did Rollins Turn Again?
The Shield broke up a few weeks ago in one of the biggest moments of the year. While the jury is still out on whether Seth Rollins will work as a top level solo heel (though if I were on that jury I would say no) it appears the angle is already off to a rough start. After all, Roman Reigns doesnt seem to care anymore that his old buddy violently beat him with a chair a couple weeks ago, only Ambrose is still hung up on that minor incident. What a pansy! From a storyline standpoint, Rollins helped out HHH immensely when he took out The Shield. It seemed natural that Rollins was joining Evolution since there was all the talk about evolving. But to repay Rollins for joining his side, HHH gave him entry into the Money in the Bank ladder match...the match thats NOT for the title. Its probably safe to say that Rollins would have been in it anyway. So why did Hunter book him in that match? Hes the boss, shouldnt he reward his little buddy with a title opportunity? That way, Rollins and Randy Orton could team up, increasing the odds that the title goes back to The Authority. It seems that Rollins should be upset about this, but hes totally cool, hes too busy shopping for new, wetter ring gear every week.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
