WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (June 8)

2. Sting Makes Less Than You Do

If you€™re wondering where Sting has been all this time, we may have just found out. It was reported recently that Sting was offered a WWE contract€ a Legends contract. Now a Legends contract may sound like a good deal, until you find out that it€™s only worth $10,000 a year. While in TNA, Sting was possibly the highest paid man on the roster making well into six figures and only having to work a handful of dates. Sure, he was probably overpaid there, but you would think that WWE could do a little better than what they offered. After all, Sting can actually still wrestle. He should be worth more to the company than Koko B. Ware and The Bushwhackers right now. Finding out that low offer is disappointing to hear how little WWE thinks about him, and what they believe he can still contribute. Do they really think a Sting vs. Cena match wouldn€™t draw? Why not use him to put over Bray Wyatt? Or if Undertaker can still go why not finally have that showdown? If it sounds like Sting is dragging his feet on joining WWE, you can€™t blame him at all at this point. Sure, he€™ll probably make more than the 10 grand if he does join on due to personal appearances, merchandise and such, but for those dreaming of a series of big matches involving Sting, those hopes may have now been dashed.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
