WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Mar. 23)

Unwritten rule of wrestling no.57... never wear a red dress near El Torito.

It was quite the violent week in professional wrestling, Daniel Bryan was handcuffed and nearly drown, Goldust looked like he legitimately wanted to murder Fandango, and Bully Ray threatened an innocent chair for 15 minutes. And those were the best parts! Actually, Raw was pretty solid, but for some reason, outside of the top two matches, WWE doesn't seem too concerned that WrestleMania is almost here. We only have five matches announced so far, and we still need 11 more participants for the Andre the Giant battle royal. Maybe the company should contact Jim Neidhart, he has a bit of battle royal experience from WrestleMania 2, or Buff Bagwell could take a night off from Gigiloing to enter for the right price (only $800 for two hours), Duke "The Dumpster" Droese is probably looking for work as well. So there are plenty of good options. With just a few short weeks left, it's crunch time to fill out the card and make Mania seem worth it. The inevitable Shield vs. The New Age Outlaws and Kane match is probably not what most fans had in mind. But before we enter the final stretch towards the Grandaddy of them all (before Vince McMahon took away our right to say that), let's take a look back at the worst, most horrifying and idiotic moments from WWE and TNA over the past week.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
