WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Mar. 30)

2. When Santino Met Emma

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8U7nboALfo Last week on SmackDown, Santino talked about a date he had with Emma. Thankfully we were spared from having to watch it. It was a minor miracle, it seemed like a goldmine of WWE comedy that Vince McMahon would find too good to pass up. This week we were not so lucky. We were punished with a skit of the two at a restaurant that looked more like a backstage area. Does WWE not understand that WrestleMania is just over a week away? Santino isn't booked on the show, and Emma is in the giant Divas match. Was there no other time to air a skit involving these two? Had this never even aired, it probably would have been better for everyone. Despite knowing each other for only a couple of months, Emma said that Santino and her are best friends with benefits. Santino did his some overacting that closely resembled a man from the silent film era, but the "benefits" that Emma was talking about were wine and meals. That's stupid and not funny. Also, Santino feigned surprise when the waiter delivered their food, which was the same. Was he not there when they ordered? To top it off, we got Santino being so nervous that he threw up. Apparently he's devolved as a human being from his time of dating Maria and Beth Phoenix. This whole skit was a bucket of vomit, and it was so bad that the announcers couldn't even muster up their trademark fake laughter. The worst part is, this seems far from over.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
