WWE Top 10 Royal Rumble Fails

7. Gilberg! Gilberg! Gilberg! (Royal Rumble 1999)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaHLHHb_cZc "Gillberg! Gillberg! Gillberg!" That's what the crowd chanted as the man known as Gillberg entered the 1999 Royal Rumble match. At least that's what the piped in crowd noise sounded like. If you don't know or weren't watching at the time, Gillberg was WWE's parody character that they made as a mockery of WCW's Goldberg. He was portrayed by a wrestler named Duane Gill, who never really made it in WWE on his own. However, the Gillberg character was good for a lot of laughs, so in that sense it worked. Gillberg entered the match in the #6 spot as Edge and Droz were alone in the ring. Gillberg was doing his poses on his way to the ring as the crowd cheered him. When Gillberg entered the match what did he do? He posed on the ropes. He did his scary Gillberg yell. Then Edge dumped him over the top rope unceremoniously. And that was the end of the Gillberg's first Rumble appearance in just 7 seconds of heart stopping action.
