What could be more fulfilling and gut-wrenchingly hilarious than that? Honestly not much. Vince McMahon one-upping Austin and screwing him over and over again finally caught up to him after he unsuccessfully stripped the WWF Championship from the Texas Rattlesnake at Breakdown. The following events on Monday Night Raw resulted in Austin going to jail after riding a zamboni down to the ring and putting a whooping on McMahon, then Kane and the Undertaker putting the boss in the hospital after effectively breaking his ankle with the steel ring stairs. Thus Vince was admitted to the nearest hospital and greeted by friends and family, even a guest appearance by Mankind (Mick Foley) and Mr. Socko's first ever appearance on Raw. Just when Vince thought he'd be taking a nice deserving rest, in enters Dr. Stone Cold Steve Austin to get the jump on the boss once again, beating him down in his own bed and bashing him upside the head with a wide assortment of hospital instruments. Sure, a fight in a supermarket is funny and engaging enough, but inside an actual hospital is just flat-out outrageous. It only further proved that no matter where you were, no matter what you were doing, the Texas Rattlesnake would find and locate you for a good old can of whoop-ass.
