image During the late-1990's, the "Rabid Wolverine" was reaching his pinnacle and prime as a pro wrestler. Having been searching for the right finish, leaving the diving headbutt and Dragon suplex by the wayside, Benoit finally settled on the "Crippler Crossface", a move that twisted the shoulder while contorting the face of the unfortunate victim. The Crippler Crossface brought Benoit long-awaited gold soon after beginning to use it as a finish, finally defeating David Flair for a US title, and later Tag Team, TV and (a very short-lived) World Heavyweight championships all adorned Benoit's list of accolades with the Crossface forcing countless tap-outs slapping the mat in wrestling rings around the globe throughout the nineties
